Cape Cod Whale Watching Cape Cod is a prime destination for whale watchers. You can take a short cruise to visit the Stellwagen Bank National Marine Sanctuary, just 6 miles north of Provincetown at the tip of Cape Cod. Its protected shallow waters are a favorite feeding ground for many humpback, finback and minke whales. In early spring you can also sometimes see the endangered North Atlantic Right Whale (fewer than 350 remain worldwide). Photo: Humpback Whale at Stellwagen Bank |
